This is my fifth and final Italy painting. I painted this on a pretty overcast day in Todi, Italy. Even so, there were birds singing loudly down below where I was working. I find that overcast days are great for painting because the low light allows more subtle color shifts to be seen in the landscape. As for this location, Todi is a short bus ride away from Perugia.
