In late June, I was fortunate to see Sam Green’s newest "live documentary" The Measure of All Things. I loved it -- it was fantastic -- combining a film screening with Green's in-person live narration and a soundtrack played live by the ensemble yMusic. Loosely inspired by the Guinness Book of Records, The Measure of All Things weaves together a series of portraits of record-holding people, places, and things. You can do a web search to find the trailer for the film, but it really was the most incredible thing to experience in person the film, live narration, and live orchestra-soundtrack-performance together as a "live documentary." Brilliant.
