Throwback Thursday #TBT
In October 2013, I posted Morandi Postcard (Watercolor Still Life, 1962) along with a fabulous article about the Peto Museum in Art & Antiques Magazine. Last week, I started putting together a facebook photo album of a few of the trompe l'oeil-inspired paintings I've done since 2007. Some are not purely trompe l'oeil, but I hope you enjoy seeing the variety of subjects I've painted.
Peto Museum Trompe L'oeil Exhibition
The Peto Museum is accepting artist submissions for their National Juried Show of Contemporary Trompe L’oeil. The last day to enter is August 8th, 2014. It's a fantastic show, and the Peto Museum does a stellar job mounting it, so I encourage you to apply here.
Morandi Postcard (Watercolor Still Life, 1962) was on display in last year's exhibit. If you're interested in getting a glimpse of the Museum, take a look at my snapshots from last year's opening reception.
