I painted this over the summer during my annual painting trip in Maine. I didn't realize it until I was correcting the photo, but this painting is almost the exact same view in the foggy Maine lake painting I did in 2009. Take a look.

Sept 2011 - Artists of Yardley Workshop

This month I taught another workshop at Artists of Yardley, and it was just great. I really love working with other artists (and art appreciators!) at my workshops.

I painted this piece recently while I was up in Maine. We stay in a cabin right on the lake, and get to see the most spectacular sunsets. It's a bit of a race, but I love to try to make paintings that capture that fading sunset light.
