Upcoming interview

A few weeks ago, I was contacted by Brainard Carey (of PRAXIS), and tomorrow night I'll be interviewed by him. I'm told the interview will air sometime this spring on Yale Radio. Once I know more, I'll post information about it here on my blog. Thanks for reading!

Japanese cup and shiitake mushroom

5 x 6 in., oil on linen on panel

Happy New Year! I've taken a break from posting to work on some larger, long-term projects, but I have, of course, kept painting... This is a wonderful cup that my artist-friend Beverly Fisher brought back for me from Japan. Beverly traveled solo all over Japan this past summer, and she brought this all the way back for me. Check out her blog, where she has writing and beautiful photos from her travels.
