This is one of my last few summer tomatoes, along with a beautiful tall iron-oxide glazed bottle.
Follow up: Plein Air for Camphill Exhibition
Peach in the Sun, oil on linen on panel, 2 x 3 in., 2010, framed. Sold.
I am happy to report that the exhibition and sale featuring art created en plein air inspired by Camphill Special School -- a community and school for children and youth with special needs -- was a great success! Many great artists participated, and tons of people came out for the event. I didn't get there until after six, but -- I am told -- that both of my paintings were sold by 5:30pm on the night of the event at the Rosenfeld Gallery, Philadelphia. Congrats to all the participating artists and everyone at Camphill, and please take a moment to check their web site.
